I am the State Director for the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network. The SBDC Network provides one-on-one advising services, offered at no charge, around all phases of the business life cycle; that is, everything from pre-venture and start-up through transitioning or exiting a business. I have been with the SBDC Network since 1998 holding various positions including Outreach Coordinator for the Wyoming SBIR/STTR Initiative, Regional Director in Northeast Wyoming, Associate State Director, and currently State Director. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and a Master’s degree in Public Administration, both from the University of Wyoming and I am a Class of 2012 Leadership Wyoming graduate. I have owned and operated two small businesses and gained certification or training in a multitude of business related topics including Program, Grant, and Human Resources Management, Business Planning, Financial Planning, Technology Development and Commercialization, Counseling, Economic Gardening, and more.

Outside of my career path, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my furry family members (currently a corgi and yellow lab). I enjoy hiking, skiing, rock-hounding, and other outdoor activities, music (although I am not musically inclined), quilting, knitting and other fiber crafts, and travel. In a nutshell, I do my best to enjoy life!
